Project Manager uses Talent Mobility Platform to learn new skills and expand initiatives
Project Manager Johanna J. was missing something in her work. Her job had become routine and she wanted to collaborate and socialize more, and learn more about company processes. In general, she wanted to feel more engaged professionally.
Johanna had known about the Hitch Talent Mobility platform but had not really engaged with it until one of her co-workers reminded her about the part-time opportunities that are posted on the portal. She decided to apply for a gig opportunity outside of her department working with the User Acceptance Testing group.
The project team was looking for colleagues who understood the end-user journey of the digital platform product. The project team had recruited a partner company to develop the digital solution and they needed experienced real-world end-users to test the solution to enable the project team to sign-off on it.
Johanna was excited when she was given the opportunity to learn about her company’s Retirement business as well as get to know how User Acceptance Testing works. Signing on to Hitch’s Talent Mobility Platform not only gave Johanna a development path, but also provided her with access to a great pool of talent to collaborate on her own projects! She continues to use the platform and loves the ease of use, the ability to promote her skills and career aspirations - and the chance to feel more engaged at work.
