Manager uses Hitch to assemble a diverse team and organize events resulting in greater inclusion and better employee experience
Ingrid E. was working on an initiative to develop the culture at Here Technologies. She was introduced to the Hitch platform by a colleague and was concerned that it would be difficult to use and required technical expertise, which she did not have. As she began to receive opportunity announcements, she decided to take another look at the platform.
She realized she needed all of the tools at her disposal to build inclusion across the worldwide enterprise. She found Hitch easy to use and began posting opportunities. As an engagement leader, she used the platform for necessary recruitment and various roles on short and long term projects.
She was able to quickly assemble a 20 member engagement team and led a hack-a-thon that impacted inclusion across the company. The hack-a-thon was a giant success and Hitch simplified the diverse talent search it required. Ingrid secured skilled photographers, experienced designers, social media experts, and technical mentors to assist the hack-a-thon teams all from within Here.
Engagement flourished due to the flexibility of time commitments for the opportunities and the range of skills needed. Overall, the workforce felt more included and more involved in many of the processes at Here.
