Motivate Your Workforce with a Growth Mindset

Generally speaking, employees are open to learning new skills and want to continuously improve and grow. However, there are others who will resist being reskilled until they come to understand the potential for their skill sets to become obsolete. That can be a very stressful moment, and it’s not a great mindset for learning. So those of us that lead large enterprises have a responsibility to help create the conditions and provide the tools to move people emotionally into thinking about reskilling and upskilling opportunities in more of a “growth mindset” vs. a “scarcity mindset”. We need to point human beings towards work that is more meaningful by leveraging the technology we have today to get insights about their skills and aspirations (reason why Hitch was created!)The bottom line is that we really have an opportunity to create the future, and to motivate our internal workforce by unleashing the talent inside (both the individual and the company!)
